Frequently Asked Questions
What are the benefits of our CryoLounge, and what temperature is it?
Our CryoLounge uses targeted cold and heat to support recovery. You can focus cold zones on sore areas while using heat elsewhere so you feel comfortable when you leave the gym. CryoLounge+ temperatures are typically about 28–40°F for cold and 95–115°F for heat. Cold therapy may help with pain and inflammation in the short term.
What membership level do I need to use CryoLounge cryotherapy, and is it available at my club?
CryoLounge cryotherapy is part of the Recovery Studio at select locations, so availability can vary by club. Basic memberships do not include access to additional amenities, while Premium, MORE, and MAX memberships typically include Recovery Studio access. Check your local Chuze Fitness plan grid to confirm what’s available with your membership.
What else is included with Recovery Studio (besides CryoLounge)?
Recovery Studio can include amenities like compression boots, infrared sauna, massage chairs, percussive therapy devices, and red light therapy (plus the Cryo Lounge Chair where offered).
Can my guest use CryoLounge/Recovery Studio?
Guests receive basic access only, and premium amenities like Recovery aren’t included for guests.
If I upgrade my membership, when does my access change?
Chuze generally requires membership upgrades to be requested with at least 10 days advance notice before your billing date for the change to take effect for that cycle. This can help ensure your new amenity access, like Recovery Studio services, is active when you expect it. Check with your local Chuze Fitness club or your membership account for the most up-to-date options.
