This 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training ride is designed to have moments of big efforts followed by periods of recovery. A HIIT workout (high-intensity interval training) incorporates cardio with strength training to boost your heart rate, improve cardiovascular health, and build muscle mass. Your instructor will guide you through these intervals, which are tailored for all fitness levels. In HIIT The Road, you control the resistance and speed, as you work towards your max effort.

HIIT The Road (HTR) is perfect for all levels of fitness. This training plan still provides an intense workout but is catered to you and your fitness level. The beauty of cycling is each rider is in control of speed, resistance, and position. During the HTR, the instructor will coach various drills each designed to bring you to your max effort with periods of recovery to follow. How much resistance and how fast you peddle is entirely up to you!

As opposed to longer cycling fitness classes where you might conserve energy to leave “gas in the tank”, you can let go of inhibition and really give the workout your all. A shorter cycle class also means less time in the saddle, which is great for new riders getting used to the cycle seat.
