In honor of Earth Day 2018, Chuze Fitness was able to donate $10,000 to plant 10,000 trees in California and Colorado! Chuze Fitness donated 15% of all company-wide retail sales in the week leading up to Earth Day! For every one dollar donated, One Tree Planted plants one tree. Chuze was able to donate $5,000 to plant 5,000 trees! However, the Chuze Family wanted to do even more so we matched it for a total donation of $10,000, which equates to 10,000 trees!
Due to Chuze having a large presence in Southern California, many Chuzers have been directly affected by wildfires, or have seen the smoke from their very homes. Half of the trees donated will be planted in regions of Southern California where fires have wiped out so much land in our “backyard.” Chuze will give the other half of our donation to plant 5,000 trees in Colorado.
On Earth Day One Tree Planted planted a total of 7,000 trees in Colorado where the Fourmile Fire in 2010 burned 160 homes and left whole mountainsides scorched and without vegetation. Thank you Chuzers for your participation in our April Chuze to Give campaign! Together we make a difference!
