There’s a switch afoot at Chuze Fitness and it’s all because we want to offer our members the best options for recovery. The expanded offerings at the Chuze Fitness smoothie bar now include whole foods, organic, and 100% GMO-free options. You can choose from everything from purees (with no sugar added) and chocolates and peanut butters, to proteins and natural supplements—everything just as nature intended it to be! 

It’s All About Nutrition

We’re often so focused on reaching goals through increasing our physical activity. We sometimes forget that nutrition, particularly post workout recovery, plays the most important role in reaching the finish line. 

Eliminating processed foods, artificial sweeteners, and going 100% GMO free ensures our recovery shakes are packed with the perfect nutritional composition to help your body recover from your sweat sesh at Chuze.

All the Good Stuff and Flavors for Days…Without the Bad Stuff!

What’s in our shakes? Actually, it’s really about what’s not in them. There is no added sugar of any kind and no high fructose corn syrup. You won’t find trans fats, preservatives, or additives in our shakes either. Artificial colors or dyes? Never. GMOs? As if!

But, don’t worry, this doesn’t mean we’re not having any fun—we’ve got flavors for everyone! Try our delectable Chocolate Frosty made with your choice of organic milk, delicious Ghirardelli chocolate, and 20 grams of chocolate whey protein. Smoothies Improve Your Workout and Your Recovery

When you have put in the time and effort at the gym, you and your body need to be restored and replenished. If you’re looking to really lose fat, you need to replace the calories you’ve burned during the workout immediately afterward. Whether your goal is burning fat, building muscle or both, your body uses its stored sugar (glycogen) as its first fuel source. This glycogen needs to be present in your body in order to burn fat, so we need to continually replace our stored energy throughout the day—especially after a workout. This keeps our bodies in an anabolic or “muscle-saving” state.  (Remember, muscle burns fat!) Most people are focused intensely on weight loss– they should be focused on fat loss! Do you want to lose weight if it means you’re losing muscle? No! The only thing that saves your muscles and targets fat after a workout is proper post workout recovery. 

Okay, so why shakes?
