Helpful Tips: Travel Smart

Just like packing your gym bag for a workout at Chuze, it’s important to get prepared for an outdoor workout or trip as well. When you know you’re going to spend a day at the park, it’s always good to be prepared. Here are a few must-have items to pack before you head out:

  • Bottled water: Keeping well-hydrated is essential, especially on hot summer days. This is crucial not only for humans but also our four-legged companions – bring along a collapsible bowl for your dog for long days spent outdoors.
  • Sunscreen: Whether you feel it or not, the sun can do severe damage to our skin, even on cloudy days. Be sure to use a minimum of SPF 15; higher for people with fair complexions and small children.
  • Portable cell phone charger: In this day and age, we rely heavily upon our cell phones – don’t get stuck without service when you’re outdoors, especially if you have a pre-existing health condition or are with young children. Traveling with a portable phone charger can be a lifesaver!
  • Waterproof Backpack: Carrying a quality backpack is a convenient way to go hands-free while allowing you to tote around essentials, such as snacks, water, diapers for kids, a blanket for a spontaneous picnic, a lightweight jacket, or other small items to help maintain your comfort throughout the day.
